The last time I went there, I wasted my time I needed an antibiotic, the guy work there his name’s Ahmed, wasted half of my time by his grumpy face, and very slow computer skills, by the end he tells me they don’t have this antibiotic and go search somewhere else, it was Sunday night, and when I asked him some help by suggesting other pharmacies since I’m not Parisian, he said he can’t help me. Not good experience for someone sick at all.
I was searching for a kind of medicine which this pharmacy didn’t have. That was not a problem, but they told me that it was sold out in the whole France! However, I was able to find it in another pharmacy nearby. It’s totally misleading and unreasonable…
I had a bad experience with this pharmacy. Indeed, I wanted to buy an item whose displayed price was 8.99 euros. The teller invoiced me 9.99 euros, fort that item, i.e. 11,1% more than the displayed price. Seeing that I was a stranger, one of her colleague try to argue that the price is higher on Sunday. This is clearly untrue: the prices are not higher in French pharmacies on Sunday than the other days of the week. Otherwise the prices of items of convenient stores, or supermarkets, such as Monoprix, Carrrefour, or stores in tourist areas, open on Sunday would be also higher on Sunday than the other days of the week. That is obviously not the case. It took about 20 minutes to get a refund of one euro. I won't recommend this pharmacy.
Absolute cheaters. They charged me more then the twice of my ticket. The lady at the counter charged me for someone else’s medicine and refused to explained to me when I asked the amount break up. She printed some one else’s name and medicine on my ordannace and refused to correct it. Further, I needed the medicine urgently and AFTER taking the money, she told me the medicine will arrive tomorrow evening. She was extremely rude. This pharmacie needs to learn that profit is not above customers health.
Giving one star absolutely because I have to (would be more tempted to leave no star at all). Big pharmacy operating more like a super-market, mac donalds or KFC rather than like a pahramcy. Though there are exceptions and one coule not characterize all employees with the same way (as of course there are exceptions), the personnel has been proved to be rude as well as unhelpfull. On this occasion I had to send a friend to buy a box of sterile gauzes. Unfortunately as this had to happen in emergency, he did not have the prescription with him. I neerthelless asked him to go there, insist to take a ticket (the usual practice of this pharmacy is not to give any ticket or proof of payment, other than the credit card payment proof, unless you really insist), ecplain the situation and ask if there can be any reimbursement a posteriori (the gauzes cost almost 100 euros). The employee he dealed with assured him that this is indeed possible. Cured and on my feet again, I visit the pharmacy to take another medicine, speak with a very comprehensive lady from the staff of the pharmacy, assuring me that it is indeed possible to get reimbursed, I just need to provide the ticket and the prescription, something that I do a few days after. There I had to do with another employee, shaking his head and basically saying me this is my problem and nothing can be done. Insisting on getting more information about the procedure to folloz, he keeps on being extremely rude, unpolite and unhelpful. I guess though that as we are talking about a pharamcy, having to get a medicine without prescription, asking advice to eb reimbursed a posteriori is not that rare. AFter having queud for almost 20 minutes (it was a Sunday, unfortunately this is the only pharmacy in the neighboorhood being open 7/7 and 24h) you can imagine my deception. UPDATE: today I talked with teh French social security who told me I can send them the proofs (ticket and prescription) so that I get reimbursed. Since 2/3 of the employees we had to deal with assured that a reimbursement is possible, I guess that following a faster, pharmacy led procedure was also possible. In any other case, the employee could have politely informed me that this is indeed possible and that I have to contact the social security for that. Which was not the case. Bottom line: the staff is not knowledgable, has no empathy and no expertise. They behave as (badly paid?) employees and not as specialised staff being there to help. You are better off trying any other bigger or smaller pharmacy in the neighboorhood, you will have more chances of being treated in a decent way and as a human being. Note: I speak very good French but during my surgery, I sent over a friend who had only a basic level of French. The attitude of the staff was simply hiddeous. Such a pity for a place in which most of us need to go when in great need. To be avoided.
